Supervisors spineless

This missive is to those of our supervisors who appear to be spineless. These individuals do not want to help the cats and dogs in our area. Their idea of animal control seems to be hiring someone to pick up their lifeless bodies in the street, wait until they are ground into the pavement or simply put them to death.

Our readers recommend:

They need to visit the places of execution where the little ones are put to death. They need to be the one to pick up the remains in the street. Maybe, just maybe, they'll find the spine that they now lack. Then we may not have to pick up or kill so many little creatures.

I have three indoor-only cats. They never get out. They are all spayed and neutered. This was done as soon as they were old enough. I will never contribute to any creatures dying because they are unwanted.

Think about it. It is cheaper to hire a compliance officer than to hire all the drivers (and gas and maintenance), facility workers, etc. Of course, there should be exceptions for legitimate and humane breeders.
